WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes for sensitive skin gently cleanses, soothes and rehydrates even the most delicate skin. Removes impurities and grime as well as make-up including waterproof mascara.
I’m good with cleansing, toning and moisturizing in the morning, because I think it makes my makeup look and last better, but at night time I’ve got no such motivation. On the nights when I get into bed with a face full of day-old makeup, I experience deeply conflicted feelings because on the one hand, I am so lazy that all of the processes involved with the cleanse, tone, moisturize routine seem too hard, while on the other I am weird and can’t fall asleep knowing my face is unclean (Exceptions: drunkenness, some illnesses, dramatic sulking/moping).
That’s where facial wipes come in. They’re a clever idea, don’t you think? I wonder who invented them. I think I may be the last Australian beauty blogger to review the WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes ($11.95 AUD for 25 wipes), but I’ve finally got there. I trialled these facial wipes directly after trialling the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, which I reviewed here. They are quite different products, so it was interesting to have them contrasted against one another.
WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes use some certified organic products and are 100% biodegradable and compostable. They’re also free of chlorine, sulphates, petrochemicals, parabens, caustics, glycols and artificial fragrances. I think that basically means that when you use them, your face isn’t like, ‘Ow, it burns’ and the environment isn’t like ‘Ow, you’re polluting me.’ The wipes come packaged in soft plastic with a sticker-type seal, which reseals pretty well (there’s nothing worse than a sticker on a packet of facial wipes that just will not stick down!).
The facial wipes themselves are large (20 cm x 18 cm [The measurements are written on the package, I didn't get my ruler out!]) and soft with a velvety texture. The facial wipes are fragrance free, and to be honest they don’t even smell of the ingredients the way some unscented products do… it’s just like sniffing a piece of paper, really.
In terms of performance, I found that as long as I wasn’t trying to remove heavy makeup, the WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes worked well. They removed my gently cleansed my skin without leaving it feeling tight or dry. If you find normal facial wipes harsh and drying, you might find that the WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes are a great alternative. However, I did find the facial wipes struggled with removing eyeliner and mascara, so if you wear much eye makeup you might prefer a more ‘heavy duty’ facial wipe (such as the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes) or to use these wipes and a separate eye makeup remover.
WOTNOT Naturally Nurturing Facial Wipes are available from www.ecodirect.com.au, select health stores and pharmacies nationwide.
Do you use facial wipes or are you totally dedicated to your skincare as I probably should be?
Note: This product was sent to me for consideration, but as always this post reflects my honest opinion on the product.

Haha reading this post made me laugh. XDI think most people have facial wipes and liquid eye makeup remover just because wipes are a lot harder to maneuver around the eye area.
i haven't used face wipes but i would like to try these too! =)
I have the opposite problem, i have no problem cleansing at night but i just can't bare the shock of water early in the morning lol! I get up at 5am for work. I always use wipes in the am and liz earle cleanse and polish in the PM.Great review

Amy – Thanks! Yeah, I think that'd be the way to go if you were using these. SugarSugar – If you haven't used facial wipes before, these would be a good option.Superficial Sydney – Haha! Opposites!
